According to two announcements released by Gotion High-Tech in the evening, the company plans to invest and construct high-performance lithium-ion batteries and supporting projects with an annual output of 20 GWh in Slovakia and Morocco with its own and self raised funds, respectively. The total investment of the projects is no more than 1.234 billion euros (about Yuan 9.4 billion) and no more than 1.28 billion euros (about Yuan 9.8 billion), respectively. According to the financial report, as of the end of the third quarter, the company's monetary funds were Yuan 14.22 billion, with an asset liability ratio of 74.31%.
Gotion High-Tech stated in the announcement that the company's construction of a battery production base in Morocco is based on the global development prospects of the new energy industry and Morocco's good industrial foundation and location advantages; Building a battery production base in Slovakia, committed to achieving local independent supply of power batteries and covering the EU market.
In fact, overseas layout has always been one of the key strategic directions of the company. Gotion High-Tech stated that the company has currently formed three major regional segments: Asia Pacific, Americas, and Europe Africa. In terms of base construction, Pack factories in Germany, Thailand, Silicon Valley, and other countries have already started production. In addition, the lithium-ion battery project in Illinois, USA will be implemented in an orderly manner according to the company's overseas strategic plan.
