According to Mysteel's survey in early January, China's lithium carbonate production is estimated to show a monthly fall of around 17% at 59,800 tonnes in January, which is primarily attributed to the domestic lithium converters and hydrometallurgical plants suspending the production for overhaul during the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday.
Mysteel's latest the survey targeting the refineries revealed that 10 refineries have turnaround plans during the CNY holiday, with details shown below.
