NBS: China's output of most white goods rises in Jan-Feb

Production of several major home appliances in China - air-conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators - all increased on-year over January-February, while that of televisions dipped slightly during the same period, according to the latest data released on March 20 by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the first two months, production of air-conditioners rose by 9% on year to reach 41.28 million units, the largest volume of the major four home appliances, the NBS data showed. Meanwhile, exports of the four appliances in the past two months all grew on year, with the volume of air-conditioners showing the most
