NBS: China's output of major white goods tops 360 million units in H1

The trend in China's production of the four major home appliances - air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and televisions - remained uneven during this year's January-June half but the total still reached a phenomenal 364.4 million units, the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) show.

According to the NBS, output of air-conditioners and washing machines posted large on-year increases, while production of televisions declined from the same period last year.
