Russia extends restrictions on exports of precious metal scrap

Russia's Cabinet of Ministers has extended the temporary ban on exports of precious metal waste and scrap for six months. The relevant decree comes into force on June 1 and will remain in effect until November 30 2025.

According to the document, the restrictions apply to: scrap and waste of precious metals, metals with precious coatings, materials containing precious metal compounds, electrical and electronic waste suitable for the extraction of valuable components.
