Taiwan's stainless mills trim list prices again for June sales

Major stainless mills in Taiwan have decided on further cuts to their list prices of stainless steel products for local sales to reflect lower import costs of stainless steelmaking raw materials and to help their downstream customers secure overseas orders, Mysteel Global learned.

For local sales in June, Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco), the largest stainless steelmaker in Taiwan, will trim its list prices of 304-grade hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless products by TWD 2,500/tonne ($84/t), the Kaohsiung-headquartered mill in South Taiwan has announced.
