On June 4, according to the latest news from State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. that as of the end of May, the installed photovoltaic capacity in Kashgar, Xinjiang, has exceeded 10.242 million kilowatts. This makes Kashgar the fifth 10-million-kilowatt-level new energy base in Xinjiang, the second in southern Xinjiang, and the first PV base of this scale in the region.
