Bridge collapse disrupts coal transport in South Sumatra

A bridge in Indonesia's South Sumatra province collapsed late on June 29, halting coal transport for several local mining firms and threatening short-term delivery delays, sources said.
The Muara Lawai bridge, connecting two key coal mining regions of Lahat and Muara Enim, collapsed around 11:00 p.m. local time when at least four coal trucks were crossing. The cause remains under investigation, though local authorities suspected truck overloading.   The bridge is a critical link in the local coal
