Jiangxi Jiangtong Xiying New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Launches Phase I of 1,000-Ton Silicon-Carbon Anode Material Project in Gongqing City
Recently, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Gongqing City, Jiujiang, released an environmental impact assessment (EIA) notice for Phase I of Jiangxi JCC Slilicon Win New Energy Technology's annual 1,000-tonne silicon-carbon anode material project.
After signing the agreement in April this year, the project has now entered full-scale construction. Leveraging Jiangxi JCC Slilicon Win's 100-kilogram pilot production line, the initiative integrates the research capabilities of Nanchang University and the industrial resources of Jiangxi Copper Group, focusing on breakthroughs in key lithium battery material technologies. The company plans to complete Jiangxi Province's first 1,000-tonne silicon-carbon anode production line by 2025, offering a gradient product matrix with capacities ranging from 1,000 mAh/g to 2,200 mAh/g.
It is reported that the total investment of the project is Yuan 160 million, and it will be implemented in two phases. Phase I, with an annual output of 500 tonnes, includes 1 production workshop, one dormitory building, two office buildings, two gas station rooms, there warehouses and equipment rooms, one wastewater treatment station and other supporting facilities. Upon full completion of both phases, the facility will achieve an annual production capacity of 1,000 tonnes of silicon-carbon anode materials.
