GACC: China's H1 ferrous scrap imports down 5% YoY

China's import volume of ferrous scrap during January-June this year totalled 133,807 tonnes, lower by 5.3% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest statistics from the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC). The reduction narrowed from the 10% on-year decline seen in the first five months though, Mysteel Global noted.
