Turkiye's ferrous scrap imports continue to rise 15% MoM in April

Turkiye's imports of ferrous scrap in April jumped 14.7% from the previous month to reach 1.9 million tonnes, though the volume was still 0.8% lower compared with the same month last year, according to the latest data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

During January-April, the country's ferrous scrap imports totalled 6.6 million tonnes, up 0.4% on year, TUIK data showed.
