Canada's iron ore exports surge 27% YoY in May

Canada, one of the top five iron ore exporters, shipped about 5.42 million tonnes of iron ore to global destinations in May 2025, marking a sharp increase of 26.8% on year, according to the latest data available from Statistics Canada.
