Brazil's annual iron ore exports hit record high in 2025

Iron ore exports to global destinations from Brazil, the world's second-largest exporter of iron ore after Australia, achieved an all-time high of 416.4 million tonnes in 2025, jumping by 7.1% from the previous year, according to preliminary statistics from Comex Stat, a data platform for Brazil's foreign trade in goods.
