In June 2025, China's alloy industry consumed 17,000 metric tonnes of nickel, representing a month-on-month (MoM) increase of 7.86% and a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 1.52%. Among them, it includes 8,600 tonnes in the non-ferrous alloys field and 8,400 tonnes in the alloy special steel sector.
From January to June 2025, the cumulative nickel consumption in China's alloy industry reached 95,400 metric tonnes, marking a YoY decline of 9.45%.
