On August 18, Hon. Winston Chitando, Minister of Mines and Mining Development of Zimbabwe, visited Huayou Cobalt's headquarters for discussions. Chairman Chen Xuehua warmly received the delegation.
Minister Chitando expressed gratitude for the hospitality and reaffirmed Zimbabwe's unwavering support for Huayou's existing projects and expanded investments in the country. He noted that Huayou's investments not only set a benchmark for China-Zimbabwe economic cooperation but also generate tangible value for local communities. Praising Huayou's commitment to social responsibility and green mining practices, he pledged continued policy support and streamlined facilitation for Huayou's long-term development in Zimbabwe.
Chairman Chen welcomed the Minister's visit and emphasized Huayou's dedication to strengthening collaboration with Zimbabwe, supporting socio-economic development, improving livelihoods, and advancing the China-Zimbabwe community with a shared future.
