FLASH: Indonesia seeks higher non-tax revenue from coal, minerals in 2026

The Indonesian government is targeting IDR 113.38 trillion ($7.1 billion) of non-tax state revenue (PNBP) from coal and mineral sectors in 2026, a 7.3% rise from a projected IDR 105.7 trillion in 2025, according to the 2026 Draft State Budget released on August 19.
Jakarta initially set the coal and mineral PNBP target for 2025 at IDR 124.7 trillion, but later projected that only IDR 105.7 trillion could be achieved this year due to falling coal and mineral commodity prices and weaker exports.   The lower projection for 2025 appeared puzzling though, Mysteel Global found,
