Taiwan's Yusco hikes stainless steel prices for Sept sales

Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco), the largest stainless steel producer in Taiwan, has decided to raise its list prices of stainless steel products for local sales in September to reflect the rise in production costs and changes in the global stainless market, Mysteel Global has learned.

For transactions in September, Yusco's list prices of 304-grade hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless products have been lifted by TWD 4,000/tonne ($131/t), and the surcharge the mill applies to 316L stainless products has been raised by TWD 3,000/t.
