On August 29, Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. announced that in the first half of the year, the company achieved operating revenue of Yuan 6.781 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.30%; And its net profit reached Yuan 2.515 billion, with an increase of 13.69% YoY.
During the reporting period, the company produced 1.9898 million tonnes of potassium chloride and 20,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate, while sales reached 1.7779 million tonnes of potassium chloride and 20,600 tonnes of lithium carbonate.
The semi-annual report shows that the company's 40,000-tonne-per-year lithium salt project has reached 71% overall progress. The adsorption lithium extraction unit completed intermediate acceptance on June 3, and the 40,000-tonne-per-year lithium salt project is expected to begin trial production with feed by the end of September. By then, the company will have an annual lithium salt production capacity of 80,000 tonnes.
