Brazil imposes AD measures on Chinese tinplate, TFS

Brazil has decided to levy anti-dumping (AD) duties of $284.34-499.35/tonne on imports of Chinese tinplate and tin-free steel (TFS), according to a release from the Executive Committee (GECEX) of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Chamber on August 29.

The duties will be applied to tinned and non-tinned flat-rolled carbon and alloy steel products, with any width and thickness below 0.5mm for up to five years.
