China Huadian's coal mine in Shanxi expands capacity to 12 mln t/y

Xiaojiawa Coal Mine, located in Lvliang city, North China's Shanxi province, has officially gained approval from the National Energy Administration (NEA) to expand its production capacity from 8 million tonnes/year to 12 million t/y through purchasing capacity replacement quotas.

Operated by Shanxi Jinxing Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China's state-run China Huadian Corporation, the underground mine mainly produces gas coal and 1/3 coking coal, Mysteel learned from public information.
