NBS: China's Jan-Sept crude steel output down 3% on year

China's crude steel output maintained on year decline during the first three quarters of this year, with the total volume falling by 2.9% from the same period last year to reach 746.25 million tonnes, according to the latest release by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday morning.

For September alone, China produced 73.49 million tonnes of crude steel, down by 4.6% compared with September 2024.
