Indonesia's PTBA posts strong operational growth in Jan-Sep 2025

Indonesian thermal coal prices inched higher on October 21, aligning with the ongoing upticks in the Chinese domestic market, as Chinese buyers showed good demand for the cheaper seaborne thermal coal shipments.
From January to September, PTBA produced 35.9 million tonnes of coal, up 9% on year from 32.97 million tonnes in the same period of 2024. The increase was mainly driven by its subsidiary PT Satria Bahana Sarana, which contributed 21% of total output.   Over the same period, PTBA's coal sales
