GACC: China's Jan-Sept aluminum scrap imports jump 11% YoY

China's imports of aluminum scrap during January-September totalled 1.5 million tonnes, higher by a significant 11% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest data released by the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

In September alone, China's ali scrap imports jumped 17.7% on year to reach 155,414 tonnes, though the volume was lower by 10% from August, the GACC data showed.
