South Africa launches AD probe into Chinese coated flat-rolled steel imports

The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa has launched an investigation into the alleged dumping of certain flat-rolled products of iron, non-alloy steel from China.

The investigation was initiated based on the application lodged by ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd ("AMSA") and SAFAL Steel Ltd ("SAFAL"), who alleged that the subject product imported from China is being dumped into the Southern African Customs Union ("SACU"), causing material injury to the SACU market.
