Thailand extends AD duties on Chinese high-carbon steel wire for five years

Following a sunset review, Thailand's Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duties Committee has decided to extend the existing anti-dumping (AD) duties of 12.26-36.79% on imports of high-carbon steel wire from China for another five years, from May 27 2026 to May 26 2031.

The subject products are high-carbon steel wire, including high-carbon steel wire alloyed with other elements, in the form of hot-rolled bars and wires irregularly coiled, with a circular cross-section, a diameter of less than 14mm, and a carbon content of between 0.76-0.92%.
