Australia initiates AD investigation on steel flat bars from Taiwan

Australia's Anti-Dumping Commission has launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into imports of steel flat bars from Taiwan on July 20, following an application filed by InfraBuild NSW Pty Ltd., the country's largest manufacturer of rod, reinforcing bar and wire products.

The investigation targets steel flat bars with a width of between 17-150 mm (including 150 mm) and a thickness of 4.75 mm or greater, whether or not containing alloys. The products fall under Australian Customs tariff codes 7214.91.00.49, 7215.50.10.53, 7215.50.90.54, and 7228.30.90.41. The AD probe covers a dumping investigation period
