South32 Limited, a mining, smelting, and refining company in Australia, is a major global nickel producer with its primary operations centered at the Cerro Matoso mine in Colombia.
The company's latest production report for the third quarter of 2025 shows that FeNi production at Cerro Matoso reached 9,400 tonnes in nickel content, up 8.99% quarter-on-quarter but down 15.65% year-on-year. The guidance for payable nickel production for the first half of 2025 remains unchanged at 16 thousand tonnes. In addition, the Cerro Matoso stripping for CoreX Holding B.V.
