MYSTEEL: U.S. tariffs hit imports of stainless consumer goods

Stainless Steel Import/Export Policy Trading
Following the rollout of hefty tariffs since the start of 2025, the United States has witnessed a sharp decline in imports of stainless steel kitchenware and small appliances.
In the first seven months of the year, U.S. imports of stainless kitchenware fell significantly, down 25.3% on year to 349.2 million units, according to Mysteel's calculations based on data released by the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC).   Of these imports, 87% came from Asia -- with the Chinese mainland
