Brazil's global iron ore exports rebound in Oct

After falling for two straight months, iron ore exports to global destinations from Brazil, the world's second largest exporter of iron ore next to Australia, rebounded in October to reach 40.7 million tonnes, according to preliminary statistics from Comex Stat, a data platform for Brazil's foreign trade in goods.

Rising by 11.8% on month and 15.6% on year, the October figure was the second highest monthly total in the country's history, being only slightly lower than the 40.9-million-tonnes record created in July this year, the Comex data showed.
