On November 10, the first-phase project of Sichuan Sevc Power Technology Co., Ltd. for solid-state batteries was officially put into operation in Yibin, Sichuan. Covering an area of 166 mu, the project has a total planned capacity of 4 GWh and involves a total investment of Yuan 3 billion.
The first phase that has now been commissioned includes a 0.5 GWh high-safety battery cell production line. It primarily produces solid-state battery products based on in-situ polymerization technology of intrinsically safe electrolytes, with an energy density of up to 360 Wh/kg, combining high specific energy with high safety. The products have already begun bulk supply to leading electric aviation companies, with application scenarios covering the low-altitude economy, robotics, and other fields.
