Dongying Hi-tech Spring Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. announced on November 11th that the company signed the Strategic Cooperation and Raw Material Supply Agreement with Xianghe Kunlun New Energy Material Co., Ltd. on November 10th. The agreement stipulates that during its effective period (from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028), Kunlun New Material is projected to purchase approximately 596,200 tonnes of electrolyte solvent from Hi-tech Spring. The cooperation reached by the two parties is not limited to the currently partnered solvent and additive products but also includes an intent and consensus for jointly developing new products and new applications.
The announcement shows that the electrolyte solvent business between the two parties will adopt an order-based purchase and sales cooperation model. Kunlun New Material commits to treating Hi-tech Spring as a strategic supplier, prioritizing the assurance of supply share for the company's products and giving priority to procuring required raw materials from the company. Specific product specifications, unit prices, and quantities will be determined based on market demand and confirmed through orders or other written documents agreed upon by both parties.
