China cobalt imports via MHP down 20.62% in October

According to customs statistics, China's cobalt imports via MHP in October 2025 reached 2,549.57 tonnes, a decrease of 20.62% month-on-month and an increase of 26.52% year-on-year. From January to October 2025, China's cumulative cobalt imports via MHP totaled 26,056.10 tonnes, representing a cumulative year-on-year increase of 31.36%. Indonesia was the largest source of imports, with 2,299.26 tonnes, accounting for 90.18% of the total import volume.
