On the morning of November 17, the commencement ceremony for the second phase of SEMCORP's annual production of 1.6 billion square meters lithium battery separator production line project was held in the Hongta District Industrial Park, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province.
It is reported that the project has a total investment of approximately Yuan 4.5 billion, and plans to construct a production line with an annual capacity of 1.6 billion square meters of separators. The project is implemented in two phases. The first phase, with a planned investment of Yuan 2.4 billion, aims to produce 800 million square meters of separators annually. And the second phase, with a planned investment of Yuan 2.1 billion, aims to produce 800 million square meters of separators annually. The ceremony marked the start of the second phase.
The second phase of the project plans to construct two modern production workshops, along with supporting comprehensive facilities such as a recycling area and tank farm, to build an efficient industrial base integrating production, storage, and recycling.
