WSA: Global crude steel output drops by 5.9% in Oct

Total crude steel output among the 70 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (WSA) reached 143.3 million tonnes in October, lower by 5.9% on-year which was significantly larger than the 1.6% drop recorded in September, according to the latest data released by the association on November 21.

Despite the larger on-year decline, the global total last month was higher by about 1% on month, Mysteel Global calculated based on the WSA release.
