Two quality control (QC) initiatives from Jinchuan's Nickel-Cobalt Concentrator -- "Development of a Slag Removal Device for Vibrating Screens in the Old Concentrate System" and "Improving Copper Recovery Rate in Plant 1" -- have been recognized with national and provincial honors. The first received a top-tier QC achievement award in the nonferrous metals industry, while the second was awarded the first-class Gansu Provincial Quality Management Prize.
These awards reflect the concentrator's ongoing commitment to quality management, refined operations, and technological innovation. The facility has established skills training as a foundational component of its quality system. Through a Model Worker Studio, quality experts and seasoned technicians lead specialized courses that systematically explain QC guidelines and production workflows, while highlighting operational standards and potential quality risks to instill a quality-first mindset.
Meanwhile, junior staff undergo rotational training in both production and maintenance teams, gaining hands-on experience in equipment debugging, troubleshooting, and quality control. This approach not only enhances practical skills but also builds a robust talent pool to support continuous quality innovation.
