Russia's coal output jumps 8% MoM in October

Russia's production of all types of coal totalled 37.3 million tonnes in October, basically flat on year but up 8.1% from September, according to the latest data from the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

Notably, Russia's coal output had posted a steady rise over the past three months between August and October, following recovered production during the same period in Kuzbass, the country's major coal producing region in Southwestern Siberia, as reported. Among hard coal types, Russian production of coking coal in October reached
