US launches second AD/CVD sunset reviews on NOES

The US Department of Commerce (Commerce) were initiating the second sunset reviews of the anti-dumping (AD) orders on non-oriented electrical steel (NOES) imported from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, and the Taiwan region of China, as well as the second countervailing duty (CVD) sunset reviews on NOES from China and the Taiwan region of China, according to a notice released by the Commerce on December 1.

On the same day, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) launched its second injury investigation to examine whether the revocation of the existing AD and CVD measures would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. Interested parties must register with the
