According to the latest news on December 2, LG Energy Solution is expanding its battery production capacity for energy storage systems (ESS) in North America due to a surge in demand in the region. It is reported that the company plans to achieve a total production capacity of 50 GWh, significantly exceeding its initial target of 30 GWh. Approximately 80% of the total 50 GWh capacity will be produced and sold in North America.
