According to information from China Gas Group On December 3, China Gas held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with EVE Energy Co., Ltd. at EVE's Zhongkai headquarters on December 2.
Under the agreement, the two parties will adhere to the principles of complementary advantages, resource sharing, and mutual benefit to deepen cooperation in three core areas. On the technology research and development front, China Gas will leverage its strengths in distributed wind-solar-storage energy, biomass, and green low-carbon platforms, combining with EVE's leading capabilities in comprehensive battery system solutions. Together, they will co-develop coupling technologies for energy storage systems and biomass energy, promoting the commercial application of low-carbon energy management platforms.
According to the plan, the two sides aim to achieve order exchanges equivalent to 1 GWh of battery cells or DC-side energy storage products within one year, covering China Gas's energy storage projects both domestically and internationally.
But there's more. The parties have agreed that in terms of project development and market expansion, they plan to jointly develop projects in areas such as commercial and industrial energy storage, mobile energy storage, heavy-duty truck battery swapping, and zero-carbon parks, and will gradually expand into overseas markets. Over the next three years, China Gas will explore market opportunities in commercial & independent energy storage, electric heavy-duty truck batteries, mobile energy storage, and other fields, providing substantial project demand to support the implementation of the cooperation. This demand will offer concrete scenarios for the collaboration.
