In response to investor inquiries on an interactive platform, CNGR Group stated that, driven by its industrial integration strategy, the company has been making strategic investments in upstream mineral resources such as nickel, phosphorus, and lithium worldwide since 2022. It has secured resources including lateritic nickel ore in Indonesia, lithium salt lakes in Argentina, and phosphate ore in Guizhou.
On the smelting front, the company has built up a nickel smelting capacity of nearly 200,000 metric tonnes of nickel metal and is currently expanding its smelting layout for phosphate and lithium ores.
In terms of downstream applications, guided by its technology diversification strategy, CNGR is actively developing multiple material systems such as nickel-based, phosphorus-based, and sodium-based materials. The application of these materials in the energy storage sector is expected to further enhance their value.
