Huayou Cobalt's subsidiary, Guangxi Huayou New Materials Co., Ltd., recently underwent changes in its business registration. New shareholders including Zhongyou Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd. and Xingyin Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd. have joined the company. Xu Wei stepped down as legal representative and was succeeded by Liu Xiuqing. Meanwhile, the company's registered capital increased from approximately Yuan 2.05 billion to about Yuan 2.59 billion. Established in April 2021, the company's business scope includes manufacturing, sales, and research and development of electronic specialty materials, as well as new materials technology R&D. It is now jointly owned by Huayou Cobalt, Hua Chin (Hong Kong) Limited, and the aforementioned new shareholders.
