On December 12, the inauguration ceremony for the Zaoyang electrolyte production base of Zaoyang Dali Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. was grandly held in Zaoyang, Hubei Province.
It is reported that the electrolyte base is planned to have an annual production capacity of 2 GWh of electrolyte, 10,000 tonnes of crude vanadium purification, and a vanadium product research laboratory. The first phase of the project, with an investment of over Yuan 200 million, has already completed the construction of two automated electrolyte production lines, three pilot lines, and an analysis and testing platform. The vanadium electrolyte output from this phase is projected to achieve an output value of approximately Yuan 1.5 billion, with revenue expected to exceed Yuan 100 million by 2025. The second phase, featuring a 1 GWh electrolyte production capacity, is scheduled to commence operations by the end of 2026, while the third phase, involving the purification of 10,000 tonnes of crude vanadium, is expected to be completed by the end of June 2027.
