According to customs statistics, China's import volume of unwrought cobalt was 1,632.90 tonnes in November (calculated based on a metal content of 99.8%, converted to 1,629.64 tonnes of cobalt), surging of 483.11% month-on-month and 230.60% year-on-year. The cumulative imports reached 7,317.55 tonnes, representing a cumulative increase of 164.86% YoY. The import value for the month was approximately $58.092 million, with an average import price of $35,576.11/t.
