Mongolia's coal output tops 10 million tonnes in November

For the first time on record, Mongolia's monthly coal output has crossed the 10-million-tonne threshold, with the November result setting a new all-time high amid increased demand from the domestic power sector and robust exports to China.
  According to data from Mongolia's National Statistical Office (NSO), the country's production of all types of coal reached 10.64 million tonnes in November, jumping by 17% on month and 23% on year.   By type, output of hard coal – mainly coking coal for steelmaking – totalled 9.2 million tonnes last
