According to customs statistics, China's cobalt imports via MHP amounted to 3,042.04 tonnes in November 2025, marking a month-on-month increase of 18.02% and a year-on-year increase of 54.28%. From January to November 2025, cumulative cobalt imports via MHP totaled 29,098.14 tonnes, representing a cumulative year-on-year growth of 33.46%. Indonesia remained the largest source of imports, accounting for 2,730.33 tonnes, or 89.75% of the total import volume.
