Gladstone port's coal exports surge past 1-year high in December

Total coal shipments to overseas markets through Gladstone port in Northeast Australia's Queensland last December soared to 6.55 million tonnes, up 11.1% on month and by 14.5% from December 2024, according to the latest data from Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC).
