On the morning of January 5, the signing ceremony for the project of Shanghai Keyun Industrial's annual production of 10,000 tonnes of porous carbon and silicon-carbon anode materials was held at the Administrative Center of Yu'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province.
It is reported that the products of the project mainly include porous carbon, silicon-carbon anode materials, single-walled carbon nanotubes, and supercapacitor carbon. The project will be invested in and constructed by Jiangxi Kete Carbon Based New Materials Co., Ltd. Upon reaching full production capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual output of 10,000 tonnes of porous carbon and 3,000 tonnes of silicon-carbon anode materials, with an estimated annual output value of no less than Yuan 1 billion.
Among these, the 3,000 tonnes of silicon-carbon anode materials, as a key product, will focus on meeting the demand for high-energy-density lithium batteries, contributing to the enhancement of power battery range and cycle performance.
