According to the official website of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with the approval of the State Council, China Petrochemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Sinopec, 600028.SH) and China Aviation Oil Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CAO) will undergo restructuring.
Sinopec ranks 6th on the Fortune Global 500 list. According to officially disclosed information from Sinopec, its crude throughput in the first three quarters of 2025 reached 186.41 million tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. The combined production of gasoline, gasoil, and jet fuel amounted to 111.08 million tonnes, marking a year-on-year growth of 4.7%.
CAO ranks 481st on the Fortune Global 500 list, with its revenue in 2024 reaching approximately 233.6 billion RMB.
