China PP 2026 capacity loss for maintenance up 9.84% YoY, likely easing supply pressure

China PP maintenance-related capacity loss is expected to reach 8.74 million tonnes in 2026, up 9.84% YoY. This rise may ease supply pressure to some extent.
China polypropylene (PP) maintenance-related capacity loss reached 7.93 million tonnes in 2025, up 9.28% year-on-year (YoY).
