IMF raises '26 global growth forecast to 3.3%

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lifted its global growth forecast for 2026 to 3.3%, higher by 0.2 percentage point from its last projection made in October 2025, according to its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO) update released on January 19. The fund is holding its projection for 2027 at 3.2%, Mysteel Global noted.
